The kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjurō playing as Izuya Yosaburō, a characters from the kabuki drama Yoha nasake ukina no Yokogushi (与話情浮名横櫛).
The play, popularly known as Otomi Yosaburō (お富与三郎), was composed by Segawa Jokō III ( 三代目 瀬川 如皐) and performed for the first time on May 1853, at the Nakamura za (中村座) theater in Edo.
